Scared  Sandy is in Canada too
My friends are flying back from Calgary to New Brunswick and Halifax. They are stuck in Montreal as all planes are grounded. West coast Nova Scotia is supposed to get the worst of it all. Stay safe everyone. Guess it helps to live in a province where the biggest body of water is a lake 100 km away. Well there are rivers but we are unaffected.

Cannot help but think of my mother right now (died in '92) She would be as hysterical as two get only she would just wring her hands and smoke every cigarete in sight. if the power stayed on (it went out way morew often then) she would drink tea by the gallon. She passed her fear of storms on to us along with our ugly feet.

these are definitely the times to feel grateful not to have a beautiful beach house..!

We are safe and sound. The wind and rain hit us hard but no damage was done thankfully. Glad you are are all ok MDs.
