First Chiropractor Visit Ever....

Our new mattress has helped our sleep immensely, but there has been some lingering, dull pain in our lower back. So yesterday we saw a chiropractor for the first time. (The body is 51.)

After speaking with us at length and doing the things that chiropractors do, she said that in all likelihood, the pain is a muscle spasm. We told her that there was no specific causal incident, but that we are under a lot of stress. She said that she wants us to have a back x-ray to rule out arthritis and disc issues. And she wants us to come back to see her again after the x-ray.

It's frustrating how much difficulty is caused when we stuff our emotions. We feel trapped by circumstances, and it's affecting our physical health as well as our mental and emotional health.
