Sad  Slipping down the waxed slide
Every day I slip a bit more. On top of moving toward Christmas I have sick friends and have to say goodbye to an old dog. For the past 3 Christmases I was with my friends' animals. Now there will be just the cat who will be going home with them. I will stay here. I have my own kitty but it is so much nicer with 2. Or more.

I have spent too much money as always. Every red cent.

I could use some chocolate. Or wine.Or both.

RE: Slipping down the waxed slide
it's sad that you have to have this time of year compounded by having to say goodbye to the dog. that layer of loss on top of the usual stress is very big indeed.

i'm at a loss for what to say. i wish we were closer geographically so we could go out or even just visit at home.

Wouldn't it be nice to just go and sit somewhere and talk. Someplace without snow.
