Sad  So quiet these days
Usually is during this season but more than ever this year. I know people need to do what is best for them but I still miss it. I miss Pirate discussing plans for JOE etc. Two has a Santa stocking coming from a different person this year. Friend is a pastor so Two figured this should be good. Woman should be closer to God who will be talking to Santa. That is the way her mid goes. Well that is one of her many paths.

This is our friend's cat who has become Two's new best friend. Oh but she loves her. Makes up songs about her and everything. Not ready for another pet and cannot have one in present abode so she gives us what we need. We pet sit for friends who go away every few weekends and will be gone for Christmas. She likes the dog but this has taught us that we are definitely cat people. We gave her the toy that was once in our home Sad

Friendship/Support  RE: So quiet these days
It's great that you can spend time with your friend's cat, although we know it's not the same as having your own. We're glad that Two likes this one.

It's easy for us to avoid posting when things get difficult for us personally, so we're trying to change this. Hoping for the best.

It has always gotten quiet at Christmas since I started coming @ 1993. Sad because people just hibernate when we need each other the most

Ethnically. We'll celebrate it in the sense of getting together with family. The good news is that Hanukkah isn't actually a religious holiday; it's a historical holiday. So we're not too worried about it.

Without going into detail, our system still has a variety of beliefs, so we don't outwardly identify with any belief system. We simply see the holidays as an opportunity to spend quiet time at home, which is what we want most.
