Head sensations at switching
Hi,
Wondering: I am noticing head pressure and sometimes uncomfortable localized head sensations right before my system shifts. Sometimes I notice the feeling and stay with it and then I'm just uncomfortable and totally uncentered. Do other folks have similar things?

RE: Head sensations at switching
We have pressure in our head when people are close or too much is going on in the inside like arguing or fighting......don't really recognize it when we are about to switch. Feeling uncentered and uncomfortable after we have switched and stepped back out is a very familiar feeling to to us depending on who was out before us.

RE: Head sensations at switching
Hiya Cew,
We often experience headaches when we've been switchin a lot. We also experience an unsettled feeling immediately after switchin, usually cos we tend to feel some of whatever the person who were out last were feelin emotionally +/or physically just before we switched, for a short period of time, and sometimes this can feel unnatural for the person who's just entered the hosting position.
Hope this's helpful.

nats, Blue and Tangled Web,
Thank you for your feedback. It is reassuring. I have had these sensations for my whole life, as well as horrific headaches all through childhood. Now, I know more of what has been happening.
DID has finally given a context for understanding this stuff.
