In the legohouse we girls were not expected or allowed to do things that were 'boy jobs'. Murmling in head over the fact that there were few f*ck*ng boy jobs but will rant on that another time)

As an adult we would often fall apart at the smallest thing; run for help or leave things undone. Today we put the wrong key in the piecacrap laundry room door. It stuck. Our first thought was that we were not prepared to put up with landlord lecture. Wondered if the neighbour was home.

AHHA! We have WD 40 in the cupboard. Came up and got it. With a quick spray the key came loose and we were able to get in to do the laundry. Came upstairs feeling SO PROUD! I know that for osme here self sufficiency may come naturally but for us not so much. However, we feel so proud. And every time there is self pride in a good way we grow.
