my first foray into therapy was after the birth of my second child, when i had severe postpartum depression that resulted in me being hospitalized. before that i don't know if i would have sought out therapy; depression was so "normal" for me, having had it all my life, that i didn't know it was something that could be treated.

i agree that the woman on that show needs treatment; i also know that until she is ready to work on things, going to therapy will not help.
