Caution  To BayDolphin
Hi again BayDolphin,

Just wanted to move the discussion about your mother's health to this board.

Our father yelled at the nurses and the aides, too. He was 72 years old at the time, and he had never had that kind of serious illness. Even though the doctors said he would get better, he was afraid that he wouldn't.

We didn't like seeing him afraid, and we wished that we could do more to help him. We had to trust that the doctors and nurses were doing their best.

Does your mother have any friends who visit her? Or a counselor or someone like that?

Friendship/Support  RE: To BayDolphin
We understand about having mixed feelings. It can be hard, especially for the younger folks.

Your mother doesn't have to have sp*r*tual beliefs to be seen by a counselor. Hospitals usually have a social-work department or something like that to help patients with the different aspects of getting better, including their mental health.

Have you talked to your therapist about this? Maybe your therapist can give you some ideas about how your mother can get help.
