What happened to the format? - mosaic - 05-26-2012

What happened? all the beautiful background formatting is gone. It's 1:54 pm on Saturday the 26th.

Kathleen also had this issue where the new site DNS has not propogated for her, so I suspect it is looking for the style sheets on mosaicminds.org - but on the old server and not finding them.

I made a tweak in the conf, but I don't know if that will fix it for people who are visiting off the temp url (mosaic.spottedlop.net) because they are still seeing the old site when they go to mosaicminds.org.

These issues should resolve by tomorrow night at the latest. It can be as long as 48 hours for some providers to point you in the right direction.

I am FINALLY in to the new site with just mosaicminds.org as the url. I got that weirdness for a while, and then could not click any of the links, because they were named with just the site.

It took a while, and perhaps a bit of a sledgehammer from The Warren (ipconfig /dnsflush) and clearing every file off my computer known to man, but Ta Da! Here I am!

Yay!

Yeesh, I was on when I got out of bed on Saturday morning. Didn't have to reboot or anything. Big Grin

Dnsflush? Maybe we shouldn't ask. Smile

Glad you're here.
