Car died again - The People - 01-20-2018
Only this time I was on the south side of the city at a busy corner. While I waited for the light to turn I played with the gas and settings to keep it running. I managed to keep it alive until I got through the intersection and pulled over.
Once upon a time I would have let the car die, then sat there crying while someone else did the problem solving. I was so proud of myself that it didn't happen this time. I don't know if I did the right thing by letting my friend talk me into continuing on to the movie I had been heading to as someone could have been hurt. Or my car could have been beyond repair.A cop actually called meas I was heading off to call a tow truck after the movie ended.
But back to the original point, I am so proud of myself when something like this happens and I react in the appropriate manner.
