I'm confused - The People - 01-11-2018
My mother was so horrid at times. Yet she had this image of me where apparently she thought I was smart enough to do anything. One year my older sister (not the oldest that I just shut down) bought the family a coloured TV for Christmas. She wanted it to be a surprise but she didn't know how to hook up the cable. It was new to us.
My mother told her to wait until I came home because I would figure it out. And I did. Did other people have an abuser like this? Especially if they were parents? I am sure my mother had DID which would explain it but it sure messes with my head. Still.
