Huge storm! - The People - 07-21-2017
We haven't had big storms in the area in a long while. Tonight was terrible. Freaked us all out. We have always hated them. We cannot function when they are going on and have to dissociate while they were on. It lasted for a long time. We had to pull the A/C thing out of the window and now we don't know what to do. Is the machine wet? We don't run it at night anyway. We have fans in the bedroom. I had a nap but I think I will have a quick bath and go to bed.

hi peoples u r a lot more braver then me god bless u I would never pull out the a c in a storm I'm a baby we all R we would feel like we would get electrocuted and then a bath just as bad I just numb out and freeze in one position till it dies down ..jp

We have tornadoes all around us all summer every year. I've gotten so used to it that I barely notice it anymore. Last week we had a huge lightning strike right outside my bedroom window, I woke up long enough to make sure the house wasn't on fire and went back to sleep. Over exposure to these things makes you apathetic after a while.

Which is kind of scary. I always think about putting together a survival kit like the gov't recommends. Last time I did it someone opened the water bottle and drank it.
