It wasn't all bad - The People - 11-15-2014
Our Chicken Soup at Christmas book is out and they are already gathering stories for next year. We wrote one. It was about my sister and I wen we were little. It focused on the positives of getting ready for the holiday and the excitement of a child.
When we edited it one last time prior to sending it off we actually cried. We sent copies to T and PDoc and said "it wasn't always bad." Sadly that same Christmas turned into a very dark time but those vignettes of family times where we were a real family do exist. It is like we could write two different stories and nobody would recognize that it was the same family.
