submissions - The People - 10-18-2013
We have artists in residence here (and probably everywhere). Their role is somewhat unclear but you can send in some of your work and they send back opinion. the first time we did it we weren't happy. this time we have a knot where out stomach used to be.
Some are new. We sent 7 though he said 6. One is just little and old and reads like a younger one wrote it. So we are nervous that he is judging our work and petrified that this person we have ever met is reading about us.

it's brave to send your art for external feedback. whatever he says doesn't diminish the fact that you took an active step.
