Very interesting discussion. I would not be in favor of sponsorship from drug companies or any commercial venture. As someone already said, they would have their own agendas. A professional organization might be nice. Unfortunately, so many pdocs and Ts still do not believe DID is "real" or they buy what they're taught in school - that it's so rare they will never see it in their career - or they don't want to be associated with it because of all the potential negative consequences. That bites but it's reality.
Anyway, attempting to find professional organization(s) that might provide some sort of support or "marketing" would be worth the effort, I think.
