The Mosaic Minds Philosophy is:
We believe that those who survived significant trauma in their lives by using dissociation at an early age have demonstrated that their greatest strength lies within themselves.
As the official policy making body of Mosaic Minds, Inc., the Board of Directors, in recognition and acknowledgement that the Mosaic Minds community members:
It will be each system's responsibility to ensure their own safety on this forum. The material posted here will be extremely triggering to read. Participation is a choice, and everyone participates on this forum at his or her own risk. Participation in the Hard Hat Zone is a privilege, an honorable responsibility, not a right. Respect for others is key to receiving and retaining access to this forum, and the continued success of this forum. Posting material or behaving in a manner which is contrary to the rules governing the use of this forum will result in the participant being denied access to the forum. The Hard Hat Zone Forum will be password protected. Community members may obtain access to the forum by submitting a request to the Board of Directors. New community members are asked to observe a "get acquainted" period of at least 4 weeks in the community and participate on a minimum three different forums, in order to get an overall sense of the purpose and community of Mosaic Minds before being granted access to this board. Inside children of all ages are welcome to post about their icky memories and big feelings, however, each system will be responsible for implementing appropriate safety precautions as determined within their own system. Please note that mention of any posts on this forum when posting on other boards is prohibited. People may talk about feelings that come up while reading or posting on the Hard Hat Zone Forum, but only in general terms. Referencing posts that contain triggering material can induce a lot of inappropriate guilt in the poster. Therefore, any posts of this nature made on other forums will be removed. The Hard Hat Zone has the potential to be a difficult forum to administrate because of its content. Because of this, admininstration of this forum will be handled differently from the other forums. Notifications of posts that possibly breach guidelines will be made to an email account that is posted at the top of the forum. In matters felt to be urgent, a notice of the email having been sent may be placed on City Hall. The Hard Hat Zone Forum has a specific set of rules governing it's use. These rules need to be read carefully and thoroughly by anyone choosing to participate in this forum.. Specific rules governing participating on The Hard Hat Zone will be strictly enforced. The first instance of non-compliance of any rule will result in the post being removed and a warning given to the poster. The second instance of non-compliance will result in revocation of access for a time-out period of 1 month, after which the member may reapply for access. If upon readmittance a system once again posts in violation of the rules of the Hard Hat Zone, access to the forum will be revoked for one year.
