May trigger Angry

I am extra angry today. Why do others treat us like we are stupid? Our SO came home from work yesterday in a bad mood. Denise usually is the one that deals with him because she is the one married to him! She takes all kinds of crap from him. I on the other had get so mad! He started calling us names, talking ugly. Then we go out to eat cuz I was there and I dont cook, Denise does. He gets into our car and starts changing our mirrors, radio stations, seat recline. I ask him to not do this because it causes us problems. He called me a name and said to fix it the next time I drove. Then when we get to restaurant he sits at a table for 6 people! I ask him to move to smaller table and he says he is fine where he is. So I sit on one end and he sits on the other! By the time we got home I wanted to punch him in the throat! I am just really really tired of this!!!!Angry

Friendship/Support RE: Angry

I am just really really tired of this!!!!:

Wow, I can sure understand why! He sounds extremely disrespectful, even verbally abusive. If this is regular, ongoing behavior, I question the wisdom of staying with him. I can't help but wonder how being in such a negative, nonsupportive environment affects your healing journey and your overall health. Obviously we don't have the full picture, but I am so sorry you experienced this. You don't deserve to be treated that way!

Please t[/u]ake extra care to respect and validate yourselves and not take on his toxic attitude toward you.--orek

Looks like the board thought that you were trying to underline something. BB code can be a PITA sometimes. So it wasn't necessarily anything that you did (or didn't do).

Thanks, MDs. I probably held down a key too long or something....
