Switching meds
I know that other people here also have trouble responding to meds. I spoke with my pharmacist yesterday because my meds make me so tired and this leads to other things. Well I asked if this can cause the fatigue. She recommended that I try switching meds every 3 months because of my tendency to build a resistance to them quite quickly.

This is the second pharmacist that has suggested this. No Pdoc or T has ever done so. I am wary because I have had so many reactions to meds over the years. Has anyone else ever tried this?

RE: Switching meds
People, I have heard of others becoming resistant to their medications and rotating through them every four months or so. Of course, the timing is dependent upon the type of medication and patient response. I've had this issue with certain benzodiazepines, and by switching, have got them to start working again. It is definitely something to discuss with your doctor if you think it might be beneficial for you.
