Another update

;( Little sister slips further toward end of time daily. So glad I called when I didas a few days ago she didn't even recognize her partner of over 25 years. I just heard from my eldest sister and she stated that he has been so good to her. They got off to a rough start in their relationship and I am so glad things got better as time went on.

I keep going back to when we were little. Little pre-schooler fights. Her being Daddy's girl with her tiny frame and giant freckles. Washing dolls in the yard. I wish I hadn't torn up all of the photos, deciding I was done with them all.

people, i wish i knew what to say. so sorry for what you are facing. it is very difficult. i hope you are able to talk about this with your t. it won't make it go away, but maybe it will help you in dealing with the impending loss.

i keep wondering when my siblings will start to go.

One of the up sides to this, well probably the only one, is that we have reconnected with some of the family. We share the sadness of watching the minutes tick by. One older sister in particular.

My younger sister's cancer is one that just rolled in and was a big mess in no time. Had they found it earlier there was still nothing they could do. It has a name but I forget what it is. But it is like being sucked in by an undertow before you even realize you fell off the dock.

I went in to tell my cousin the other day. Coincidentally her sister's husband has lung cancer too. But his took a different form. It hasn't spread and they removed the tumours, taking most of the bad lung.
