Bankruptsy file closed - The People - 03-25-2018
Some people know that we declared bankruptcy 7 months ago. My file is now closed as I did it like my life depended on it. I found it to be very stressful. Am I better off? I don't know yet.I don't owe money. I don't have anyone looking over my shoulder. I don't put out extra money to them every month. I still don't have money for the dentist, for glasses, for a car. Life will continue to change. I miss having a credit card but not the giant payments that I created.

you were wise to adhere to whatever the terms were for the bankruptcy. it may take some time, but i believe you will find it is less stressful now that you don't have the credit bills hovering over you.

Nope. I need dental work and glasses, both major expenses. Neither needs to be done tomorrow but both have chips in them. And not salt & vinegar.
