majorly freaking out. we sent Dan his phone and put on the customs form the amount we paid ( well below market value as we got lucky on an auction)and we still got hit with what seems like customs fees for full market value. So now everyone inside is like what if they think we lied.

uk customs fees are added to anything valued at over about £20. it's dependent on the amount you put in, so would not have been based on market value. make sure you say clearly that its a gift as that can also affect the fees.
