Today I am having a good day. - The People - 01-15-2015

There could be a number of reasons. I am back at working out and really kicked it up a notch this week. This was followed by a real meal of veggies and shrimp. We had a nice soak in our new tub and must have slept for 12 hours afterward. Muscles were taut last night but feel fine today. My tummy is shrinking b/t gluten free, recovery from a lot of things and the exercise.

I cannot remember the last time I felt so laid back and relaxed.

Tomorrow I am going for a volunteer interview a block away. It is in the same field as when I did paid employment. Progress!

I know that every day will not be this good but it is important to celebrate them when they do show up! Smile Smile Smile

Very cool. Glad you're doing well.

We'd love to have some shrimp. We have a couple of shrimp alfredo frozen entrees in the freezer, but it's not the same.

Hoping your interview goes well.

Hear that, the People. It is important to celebrate those days, as rare as they may be. Those days give us a glimpse into what life might be like once the past isn't suffocating us with its frozen presence--not that there won't be struggles and hard days, but that they will all be in the present and there will be more of the empowered days... hopefully. Yes, they do end, as I see it did for you. Kudos for all you're doing re: self-care despite the enormous struggles. Take care.
