When flashbacks keep you from eating - The People - 10-01-2014
I have taken a lot of control back from my ED but today it is winning. I have been having visual flashbacks of a certain nature (sparing details) and as a result the thought of eating anything brings on more images and a sense that I will vomit (not on purpose) if I try to swallow anything at all. Well not so much the swallowing but placing it in my mouth. Often I will take the bull by the horns and shove something down despite the images and it stays down. However, today it just won't go away. The flashback is one of the kind that doesn't have a full story to it, just an image.
What do other people do to combat this? I have to go out and think I will stop for a glass of wine. Maybe But I know that is not the best solution. Will be walking BTW.
