Doin ok but tough time in t - Silent Society - 07-21-2014
Hi guys. Have been doing a lot of work in t. is very hard. am doing ok but is hard to ground after sessions. not even sure what I mean by that. Is hard to think about what has been said and get back to a place where can appear normal to outside ones. having a hard time thinking.
There is no where else that i can discuss these things but here and with t. just wanting some support I guess. thanks for listening.

When we have an especially hard session we do two things. One is that T and I finish with a light discussion on life in general like any two people might have. Two, if we have to we go and sit somewhere. There isn't much around where present T is so sometimes it just means sitting in our car for a bit. Safety is the first rule so perhaps having a list of things to do like carrying a novel or something that as nothing to do with T as you ride a bus or play a good even keeled station while you drive home and sing along with it. Those are just suggestions.
We find that it takes so much more energy when the littles are out. Two came out for a session a while back and did a sandbox. We had to come home and drop into bed as we find their entry and exit to be quite exciting.

A friend once told me that it felt like draging yourself home to assess the wreckage. I would have to agree with that. I feel the same way.
