MosaicMinds Interactive Community Forums employs date aging algorithims on all forums which will be normally kept to under 100k size in order to manage bandwidth on our servers. The Communtiy Administrators delete messages beyond a certain date in order to meet that goal; the number of messages deleted during a trim are based upon that forum's traffic level. Highly trafficked forums (e.g., Welcome Aboard or the Steam Room) have short expiration periods (generally less than a week) while messages in other forums may have longer periods before they are purged. MosaicMinds does not archive any past messages; once they are deleted, they are gone forever.

The Suburbs

The Suburbs is where you will expect to find the lighter conversations that take place in our community. With a place for all ages to make friends and get to know others, we hope that you'll find the connection with others that reminds you that you're not alone. Triggering material is kept the barest minimum in the Suburbs, and not permitted at all on several of the forums.

Welcome Aboard This is our introduction forum, the only forum at Mosaic Minds that can be accessed without a registered username and password. New folks are encouraged to stop by here and introduce yourselves, get acquainted with each other and with longer-term community members, and familiarize yourselves with how Mosaic Minds works. Welcome Aboard is a good place to ask questions about getting started at MM!

The Kastle is for the younger parts of us to play and make friends in a safe, welcoming atmosphere. The Kastle is supervised by PALs, safe adults the children get to know, and learn to trust to help keep the Kastle safe from intruders. Big feelings are left at the kastle gate, or taken to the Treehouse in DownTown. No adults other than the PALs are permitted to post in this forum.

The Community Center is where the community gathers on occassion to celebrate life and the good things in it. At the Community Center we remind ourselves of the healing value of laughter and play as a group.

The Mall is the hangout of choice for our younger teen parts. Topics will include issues that affect them, but be on a much lighter scale the the DownTown Street Corner.

Soda Shoppe is for those parts that feel they are too old for The Kastle, but maybe too young still for The Mall. Those "in betweeners" should find a friendly atmosphere here to make friends and talk about things that concern them.
